| Expeditionary Shelter System | | The Expeditionary Shelter System (ESS) is a theatre proven, ATV towable shelter system that is CH-47 compatible.
MMIC’s uniquely designed shelter system, done in conjunction with the USA and USAF Special Operations Command in response to an urgent need from theatre, provides an immediate equipment set. The ESS is configured on a patent pending trailer that houses the prime operating systems and a rapidly deployable shelter. The ESS is operational in less than 10 minutes by two soldiers.
The U.S. Military Standards tested and approved shelter system is manufactured with:
- Diesel generator
- Environmental controls for heating and cooling
- Cargo space for a 225 ft² air beam shelter or rigid-frame shelter
- LED lighting, electrical distribution cord sets.
The ESS meets today's tactically agile Special Forces equipment needs while maintaining ATV tow capability and CH-47 air lift requirements. The ESS goes anywhere an ATV goes!
